As a fresher, you’ve probably only been to Leamington Spa for Smack and Neon. However, if you find yourself with an empty weekend, get the U1 over to Leamington Spa and check it out!
If you fancy a shopping trip, but don’t want to travel to Coventry or Birmingham, Leamington Spa has a small shopping centre, The Royal Priors. With shops varying from Clinton Cards to Ann Summers and TopShop, there is something for everyone. There are also plenty of cafes and restaurants (including a Nandos) to recharge yourself in your shopping breaks.
If you fancy a more relaxed day out in Leamington, you could visit the Jephson Gardens where you can hire a row boat from the Leam Boat Centre, and row on the Leamington river.
If you’d rather a more active trip, you could get your friends together and make a flat bowling trip to the Tenpin Bowling Alley, which has been described as “Not the best but not the worst” with 3.5/5 stars on TripAdvisor, but it has a bar so you should definitely check it out.
For most people, the church in South Leam is just a place where the Uni Express drops you off for a Neon Night out, but for people interested in old architecture, you should pay All Saints Church a visit.
Some truly nice stuff on this site, I enjoy it. Windows 10 Bluetooth missing
